This report outlines the six goals set by the new world alliance to achieve what no single country could accomplish independently in addressing the full range of international patent safety issues. The six goals are defining global patient safety challenges, increasing patient and consumer involvement, building a patient safety taxonomy, driving patient safety research, identifying solutions to reduce risk, and reporting to improve safety.
