A Safer Place for Patients: Learning to Improve Patient Safety.
This report details the current state of patient safety in the National Health Service (NHS). The three-part report discusses how, with NHS trusts, safety culture and local reporting have improved, but delays exist in developing an effective national system. The capacity for sharing learned lessons has not yet been used optimally. This detailed report provides a comprehensive overview and figurative report card of past efforts along with future strategies for moving the patient safety agenda forward.
