Nursing home safety: does financial performance matter?

This study discovered that nursing homes in the bottom quartile of financial performance also did poorly on measures of care delivered. Interestingly, nursing homes in the top two financial categories also had noted deficiencies, whereas the next to lowest quartile of financial performance did best on selected safety measures.
