Psychological safety has received increasing attention as a cornerstone of high reliability organizations. This study examined psychological capital: a concept related to psychological safety that emphasizes an individual's sense of self-efficacy and resilience. An intervention to develop psychological capital that was deployed among manufacturing employees reduced unsafe behavior.
