This survey examined predictors for fear of repercussions related to reporting adverse events. Although characteristics such as age, gender, and teaching status did not predict fear of repercussion, leadership support for safety was associated with less fear of reporting, suggesting that leaders should be the target of interventions to enhance reporting.
