Artificial intelligence (AI) is recognized as a critical tool to aid in many areas of cancer care such as diagnosis and screening images. This study surveyed authors of peer-reviewed AI and cancer care articles about their views on the future of AI in cancer care, including anticipated barriers to use. Nearly three-quarters considered AI grading and classifying cancer as likely to occur in the next ten years followed by reliable diagnosis. Lack of standardization in health data was rated as the most likely barrier to use of AI.
